The Tango dancers are on top of the favourites list in this summer's finals as the current squad has proven to be one of the best in the world. The Argentine squad booked their qualification ticket with four games remaining after they impressed the whole world with an excellent qualification journey.
With players like Juan Veron, Ariel Ortega, Claudio Lopez and Gabriel Batistuta, the Argentines stayed on top of the qualifying group throughout the qualification stage. The players managed to get the confidence of the whole world in being the most able team to capture this tournament's cup.
Nigeria
Africa's green eagles and the champions of the 1996 Olympics are again full of talents and ready to launch their skills on the international stage in this summer's finals. The side which left the 1998 finals following a 4-1 thrashing by Denmark have grown more self confidence and better tactical experience and are thus expected to present a stronger performance.
Led by the national coach, Festus Onigbinde, talented players like Jay Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu and Finidi George are on the list of players who should be feared by all their opponents.
England
Although the English team did not succeed in pulling off a good performance on the international stage since their winning the 1966 World Cup, the present day talents managed to place England's name on the list of football's super powers. Under the expert leadership of the Swede coach Sven Goran Eriksson, the team is expected to remind the world of the good old days.
The English were about to lose their automatic world cup spot until the injury time of their qualifier match against Greece when Beckham, one of England's wonders in the football world, booked their world cup spot with the equalizer.
Sweden
Sweden's modern and extremely talented squad are ready to press their excellent football experience into the world cup especially that they fell into this summer's group of death.
With the Celtic striker Henrik Larsson and the Arsenal midfielder Fredrick Ljungberg leading a squad of experienced footballers, Group F is really going to be extreme fun to watch.
